We support a network of referring veterinarians while providing 24/7 emergency services and a wide range of specialty care. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Warren Avenue hospital. In this key leadership role, you'll partner closely with hospital leadership to support our Urgent Care and Specialty teams, cultivate a collaborative and positive workplace culture, and ensure an exceptional experience for both patients and clients. The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing hospital operations, leading and developing a high-performing team, optimizing workflows, and driving operational excellence. Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience in veterinary medicine
  • 5+ years as a licensed or certified technician working in a veterinary hospital
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change while maintaining a positive team culture
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial management experience, including budgets and operational metrics

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in veterinary urgent care, emergency, or specialty medicine is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily hospital operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization
  • Coach, mentor, and support veterinary technicians, client service representatives, and support staff
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on teamwork, accountability and team engagement
  • Create an environment where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development
  • Partner with Operations Director and Medical Director to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and hospital performance
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure exceptional client service and patient care standards are consistently maintained
  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on positive outcomes
