About The Position
PetCare Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead their established hospital in Roseville, CA. This role is focused on leadership, culture building, and operational excellence, in partnership with the Medical Director. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who excels at coaching, problem-solving, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities
- Partner with the Medical Director to lead daily hospital operations and ensure an exceptional experience for patients, clients, and team members.
- Recruit, hire, coach, and retain an outstanding veterinary team.
- Foster a culture built on trust, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance coaching.
- Develop future leaders within the hospital.
- Handle difficult conversations, client complaints, and team conflict live and in person.
- Co-own hospital direction and decisions with the Medical Director.
- Communicate proactively and directly with the Medical Director.
- Oversee daily hospital operations and workflow.
- Optimize scheduling and staffing.
- Ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory and vendor relationships.
- Support a safe, organized, and compliant hospital environment.
- Manage labor, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Monitor hospital KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with the Medical Director to grow the practice while maintaining exceptional patient care.
- Make data-driven decisions that strengthen both the business and the team.
- Champion an exceptional client experience.
- Support team members during busy periods.
- Take ownership of client service, patient care, and employee engagement outcomes across the hospital.
- Build lasting relationships within the Roseville community.
