Requirements
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions.
- A passion for learning, multitasking, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in veterinary or medical pharmacy operations preferred.
- Familiarity with prescription management software, Cubex systems, and compliance tools is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Be the first line of review for external prescriptions on the dashboard, delegating calls to clinical liaisons or Stepping in as a secondary backup for prescription fills when needed.
- Monitor daily Cubex reports, resolve cycle count discrepancies, and conduct investigations.
- Champion compliance by overseeing daily refrigerator and freezer temperature logs.
- Participate in hospital rounds to identify drug-related patient care questions, collaborating with our pharmacist for expert follow-up.
- Assist with preparing discharge medications and reconciling owner-provided medications.
- receiving and stocking of all medications in our cubex's
- Work hand-in-hand with the Technician Learning and Development Specialist to create engaging pharmacy-related onboarding and training experiences.
- Be the go-to resource for client drug-related inquiries, callbacks, and communication, positively impacting their experience.
- Fill prescriptions with precision, ensuring final review and sign-off by a supervisor.
- Review CURES reports daily, addressing and resolving any reporting errors.
- Manage Chewy dashboard tasks, voicemails, emails, and callbacks, ensuring seamless communication with doctors and clinical liaisons to meet client needs.
