Requirements

Current LVT or licensed pharmacy tech
Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, sterile compounding principles, and dosage calculations
Experience with medication preparation and handling
Working knowledge of pharmacy inventory systems and automated medication dispensing systems
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to work around veterinary patients

Nice To Haves

Cubex experience preferred
Experience in pharmacy, veterinary, emergency, specialty, or healthcare settings
Familiarity with EzyVet, Cubex, sterile compounding, medication preparation, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

Accurately review and process prescriptions and prepare medications for critical patient care.
Work closely with veterinarians and technicians to ensure every dosage and label meets high standards.
Manage the Cubex dispensing system, monitor inventory, and collaborate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Handle prescription requests through EzyVet.
Support compliance standards to ensure medication safety and efficiency throughout the hospital.
