About The Position

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency in Gig Harbor, Washington, is seeking an Oncologist to join their team. They are a new, progressive, and inclusive specialty hospital focused on breaking the mold of veterinary medicine by prioritizing quality of life and work-life balance. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a visionary Oncologist to build their dream specialty service and contribute to the hospital's culture and development. The role will be supported by existing specialties (surgery, internal medicine) and a fully operational 24-hour ER service. The hospital has a new, state-of-the-art, 21,000 sq ft facility featuring a dedicated oncology suite with a connected hood room for treatment and safety. The Oncologist will have the freedom to order and build their own instrumentation and toolset. The facility is equipped with a dedicated ICU, full in-house lab, 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house blood bank, I-131 therapy, minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy, and fluoroscopy.
