Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Internist
About The Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Internist to join our growing team in Oklahoma City. As our Internal Medicine Specialist, you will have the autonomy to build the service in an area with a high demand for an Internist, while benefiting from the collaboration and support of your team. Our practice offers a diverse caseload including ER, ICU, exotics, and advanced diagnostics. You will have the opportunity to participate in published research studies, such as snakebite research with UT and oncology research with OSU. We provide access to cutting-edge technology and gold-standard medicine in a spacious facility that is undergoing planned renovations. The facility includes nine exam rooms, double surgery suites, an in-house lab, ultrasound/advanced radiology, a fully staffed 24/7 ICU, and the state's only pet-specific Hyperbaric O2 Therapy Chamber.
Requirements
- Boarded or Residency-Trained in Veterinary Internal Medicine.
- Licensed in OK (or able to obtain).
Responsibilities
- Build the Internal Medicine service.
- Manage a diverse caseload including ER, ICU, exotics, and advanced diagnostics.
- Participate in published research studies.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and gold-standard medicine.
