About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist to grow Internal Medicine services at BluePearl Savannah. As the only dedicated Internal Medicine specialist in the Savannah market, you will have an exceptional opportunity to develop a strong and diverse caseload, build referral relationships, and establish yourself as the area's go-to Internal Medicine resource. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is collaborative, motivated, and excited to help build and shape a service while providing exceptional patient care. BluePearl Savannah shares a veterinary campus with three additional specialty practices: Savannah Veterinary Emergency Clinic, Coastal Veterinary Oncology, and Fetch Canine Rehab. This unique environment creates a strong built-in referral network, with significant opportunities for Internal Medicine cases from the specialty teams on campus, in addition to referrals from veterinarians throughout the Savannah market. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with Emergency, Oncology, Rehabilitation, and other specialty clinicians on complex cases, all under one roof. Access to advanced diagnostic and imaging capabilities, including: Digital radiography, Ultrasonography, 128-slice Canon Aquilion CT.

Responsibilities

Build a robust caseload and become a primary referral resource for the greater Savannah, GA area.
Develop a strong and diverse caseload.
Build referral relationships.
Establish yourself as the area's go-to Internal Medicine resource.
Collaborate closely with Emergency, Oncology, Rehabilitation, and other specialty clinicians on complex cases.
