About The Position

The Veterinary Hospital Operations Coordinator (RVT) is a full-time position responsible for supporting the daily operational functions of the hospital, with a primary focus on supply chain management, inventory oversight, equipment coordination, and workflow support. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, this role is designed to provide the ideal candidate with an advanced, non-supervisory position, with the opportunity to develop operational, business, and leadership-adjacent skills while supporting clinical operations and senior leadership. The coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the hospital operates efficiently by maintaining appropriate inventory levels, supporting procurement processes, and coordinating equipment use, maintenance, and replacement. This position also serves as a first point of contact for client concerns and disputes, utilizing sound judgment, professionalism, and effective communication to address issues in real time and escalate appropriately when needed. The SOCC Operations Coordinator serves as a liaison between clinical teams and hospital leadership, providing insight into day-to-day operational challenges and assisting with the implementation of new initiatives, equipment rollouts, and process improvements. This role may support data tracking and reporting related to inventory usage, supply costs, and operational efficiency, contributing to informed decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. This position is intended to function as a developmental step for an RVT, bridging advanced technical expertise and future leadership roles.
