About The Position

At Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC), every role matters. Hospital Care Assistants help keep our hospital clean, organized, and ready for every emergency. This role is for individuals looking for meaningful work, who enjoy staying busy, and want to be part of a team that helps save pets' lives every day. EVCC was created by veterinarians, for veterinarians, and for the communities they serve, providing trusted emergency-only care when primary care veterinarians are closed. Our Mishawaka location is open 7 days a week, 24/7, including holidays. EVCC's values include leading with compassion, supporting one another without ego, taking pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital, communicating openly and professionally, and believing every team member plays a vital role in patient care. Emergency medicine is fast-paced, unpredictable, and rewarding. While doctors and technicians care directly for patients, Hospital Care Assistants make it possible for them to do their jobs efficiently. Every stocked treatment area, freshly cleaned kennel, and organized workspace helps provide the highest level of care when seconds matter. No two shifts are exactly the same, and the work makes a difference. EVCC is a place where you can learn, grow, and contribute from day one.
