About The Position

At Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC), every role matters. Our Hospital Care Assistants help keep our hospital clean, organized, and ready for every emergency. This role is for individuals looking for meaningful work, who enjoy staying busy, and want to be part of a team that helps save pets' lives every day. EVCC was created by veterinarians, for veterinarians, and for the communities they serve. Our Saginaw location provides compassionate emergency care for pets and the people who love them. Every shift, our team comes together to deliver lifesaving medicine while supporting one another through the fast pace and unpredictability of emergency veterinary care. We lead with compassion, support one another without ego, take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital, communicate openly and professionally, and believe every team member plays a vital role in patient care. Emergency medicine is fast-paced, unpredictable, and rewarding. While our doctors and technicians care directly for patients, our Hospital Care Assistants make it possible for them to do their jobs efficiently. Every stocked treatment area, freshly cleaned kennel, and organized workspace helps us provide the highest level of care when seconds matter. No two shifts are exactly the same, and you'll never spend your day wondering if your work made a difference—it will. Whether you're exploring a future in veterinary medicine or simply looking for a meaningful career with an incredible team, EVCC is a place where you can learn, grow, and contribute from day one.
