About The Position
We are seeking full time veterinary technicians to join our anesthesia team. Our techs have a passion for anesthesia and pain management. They work closely with services to provide anesthesia to patients undergoing procedures and play a key role in training veterinary students and other veterinary technicians in the nursing skills specific for anesthesia.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience (for Technician I).
- Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience (for Technician I).
- Credentialed veterinary technician and VTS specialty certified in specific area (for Technician II).
- Credentialed veterinary technician, preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
- Experience with anesthesia, preferred

Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia to small animal patients undergoing procedures and deliver high quality patient care under the direction of an anesthesiologists.
- Reviewing and interpreting a multitude of information to provide an evidence based approach to the care of the patient, continually monitoring patients to detect changes and intervene proactively to prevent complications.
- Work closely with specialty services to ensure cases are being handled safely and efficiently.
- Shape future veterinarians and technicians on veterinary care, specially anesthesia, through one on one training with our diverse student and staff population.
