About The Position

We are hiring a full-time DVM Educator for our Veterinary Technician program. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Licensed Veterinarian in the state where the campus is located.
Three (3) years of experience as a DVM, including surgical experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills (word processing, presentations).

Responsibilities

Deliver didactic classroom instruction using an established curriculum.
Prepare lectures and practical demonstrations for students.
Evaluate student performance and maintain grades.
Monitor student success and implement retention strategies.
Advise and mentor students.
Perform live surgeries (spay, neuter, dental, and other soft tissue procedures) as teaching demonstrations.
Supervise and coach students during surgical labs.
Maintain surgical logs and teaching records in accordance with state requirements.
Monitor student attendance and maintain records.
Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and clinic visits.
May assist with supplies and equipment inventory.
