About The Position
BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Rockville, MD is seeking a Veterinary Critical Care Specialist to join their team. This is a multispecialty hospital with multiple specialists in each field, providing 24/7 emergency care and a wide variety of specialty services. The hospital has boarded specialists in Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and a growing intern program. They also have partnerships with board-certified Neurologists and Cardiologists. The hospital hosts monthly doctor informal topic rounds and other in-house CE opportunities to foster a collaborative atmosphere. The hospital, established in June 2014, is 33,000-square-feet and equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools including a mechanical vent, high flow oxygen, lithotripsy laser, MRI, 64 slice CT, ultrasound, minimally invasive scoping equipment, an isolation unit in the ER, and an in-house Antech reference laboratory. The location offers free parking, easy access to major commuting routes, and is situated in an area with many dining options. The goal is to build the premier facility for advanced veterinary care in the Maryland-Washington D.C. area.
Requirements
- Veterinary Critical Care Specialist qualification.
- Board certification in Critical Care is implied by the title and description of a specialist role.
