Veterinary Criticalist
About The Position
MedVet Northern Utah is seeking a Veterinary Criticalist (or residency-trained individual) to join their 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital in Sunset, Utah. The hospital offers a collaborative atmosphere and a team-oriented approach to patient care, supported by well-trained technicians and medical leaders. The facility is a 15,000-square-foot hospital equipped with on-site digital radiology, point-of-care ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, high-flow oxygen, in-house lab equipment, and telemetry. The team is dedicated to fostering doctors' growth and providing excellent care. Collaboration with the MedVet Salt Lake City hospital allows access to advanced diagnostics and treatments like MRI, plasma apheresis, and radiation therapy.
Requirements
- Veterinary Criticalist or residency-trained individual.
- Ability to work in a collaborative atmosphere.
- Commitment to a team-oriented approach to patient care.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with on-site digital radiology, point-of-care ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, high-flow oxygen, in-house lab equipment, and telemetry.
- Experience with MRI, plasma apheresis, and radiation therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in a 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital.
- Collaborate with other ER doctors and specialists.
- Utilize advanced diagnostics and treatments.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Participate in training new ER doctors through the Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program.
