Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent (previous experience a plus!)
Skills in animal handling, restraint, and client communication
An eagerness to learn new procedures and grow your technical abilities
Reliability, teamwork, and a positive outlook—even on the busy days
Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

Embrace the occasional “cat rodeo” with safe, skilled handling
Create a positive experience for pets and clients by assisting in exams, treatments, and daily care
Clean and prepare exam rooms between patients, maintaining a safe, organized environment
Assist in safely restraining pets to minimize stress and ensure safety for all
Record accurate medical histories and patient notes for the veterinarian
Take vitals, collect diagnostic samples, and prepare vaccines and medications as directed
Educate clients about pet care, preventive medicine, and parasite control
Support your team and doctors with a can-do, compassionate attitude every day
