About The Position
Southgate Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their dedicated and compassionate team in Bellefontaine, OH. The clinic focuses on providing exceptional care and creating a positive, stress-free experience for pets and their families. The Veterinary Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including pet restraint, triage, lab sample collection and analysis, diagnostic imaging, nursing care for hospitalized patients, medication administration, client communication, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. The role requires the ability to handle unpleasant odors and noises, and potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases. The clinic offers opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities
