About The Position

Bell Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dependable, hardworking Veterinary Assistant to join their practice. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, veterinary technology, or animal science, or for those with a passion for animal care and a desire to learn. As a single-doctor practice, the Veterinary Assistant will work closely with Dr. Bell, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities

• Assisting the veterinarian with patient care and medical procedures
• Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
• Caring for hospitalized patients
• Administering treatments and medications as directed
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Supporting clients with education and exceptional customer service
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a safe, organized hospital
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep the day running efficiently
