Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
VCA Yucca Valley Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing compassionate care to hospitalized animals and supporting veterinary procedures. The position is full-time, with a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule that includes alternating Saturdays. The wage range is $19 - $22 per hour. Requirements
- Previous experience or training/education working in a veterinary facility preferred.
- Must be friendly, outgoing, and “people-oriented.”
- Excellent communication skills.
- Telephone and computer skills are necessary.
- Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments and to accept change.
- Dependable attendance is required.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
- This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during an 8-hour day.
