This role involves rooming patients, assisting with surgeries, drawing blood, running bloodwork, positioning for x-rays, and proper animal handling and restraint. Requirements
- At least 2 years of veterinary experience (highly preferred)
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive team player willing to continue to learn
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
Nice To Haves
- Experience rooming patients
- Surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used
- Drawing blood and running bloodwork
- Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
