About The Position

Mauer Animal Clinic is a long-standing general veterinary practice in Las Vegas, Nevada, serving canine and feline patients with wellness and sick care. The clinic provides services including surgery, radiographs, ultrasound, and laboratory testing, and emphasizes compassionate, quality medicine and a welcoming client and patient experience. The Veterinary Assistant supports doctors and the clinical team in patient care and clinic operations. Duties include assisting in exam rooms, drawing blood and running laboratory tests, filling prescriptions and administering medications, and feeding, watering, and cleaning patients. The clinic prefers candidates with experience but states that experience is not required. The ideal candidate has open availability, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Weekend work is required.
