Northfield Veterinary Hospital is a four-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal practice located in Denver’s Northfield/Central Park neighborhood. Requirements

• Previous Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
• Strong patient handling and restraint skills
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
• Support urgent care appointments and patient flow throughout the hospital
• Prepare patients for examinations, diagnostics, and procedures
• Assist with laboratory testing, sample collection, and patient monitoring
• Support surgical and dental procedures as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
• Deliver compassionate care while supporting a fast-paced veterinary team
