About The Position
The Don Valley Animal Hospital has been serving the Don Mills community for over 35 years. We are located west of the D.V.P. on Lawrence Ave. E. across from the Shops on Don Mills. We offer a wide range of services including, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, the existence of nutritional and behavioural services. Our ideal Vet Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or a RVT, on various aspects of animal care such as dosage/purpose of medications, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations. In collaboration with the team, they will suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. They will also greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to an environment in which animals feel safe and secure.
Requirements
- Ability to counsel and educate clients on animal care.

- Ability to greet, handle, and treat animals compassionately and securely.

Responsibilities
