The ideal Vet Assistant will educate clients on animal care, medication, vaccinations, and preventative healthcare under the direction of a Veterinarian or RVT. They will also explain laboratory procedures, handle animals to ensure they feel safe, and provide weekend coverage. Veterinary Assistant experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Counsel and educate clients on various aspects of animal care such as dosage/purpose of medications, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations.
- Suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing in collaboration with the team.
- Greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to an environment in which animals feel safe and secure.
- Provide weekend coverage.
