About The Position
We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Liberty Pet Hospital in Powell, Ohio! Liberty Pet Hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic proudly serving Powell, OH and the surrounding communities of Columbus, Dublin, and Delaware. We’re dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for dogs and cats through routine wellness, urgent care, surgery, dental services, diagnostics, and more. With a focus on building lifelong relationships with pets and their families, we strive to deliver exceptional customer service and advanced medical care in a friendly, supportive environment.
Requirements
- 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Ability to be adaptable and work well with existing doctors and team members
- Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
