Responsibilities

  • Assist the veterinary team with appointments, procedures, surgery, and patient care
  • Restrain and handle patients safely and compassionately
  • Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas and keep them clean and organized
  • Assist with patient intake, discharge, and client communication
  • Clean and maintain equipment and surgical areas
  • Help with laboratory samples, medications, treatments, and other patient-care tasks as trained
  • Support the team in keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently
  • Participate in training and actively work toward developing new skills
