About The Position
Summerfields Animal Hospital in the North Fort Worth - Keller, Texas area is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Veterinary Assistants to join our well-established, AAHA-accredited, 4 doctor practice. We are looking for friendly, driven, inspiring, patient, balanced, and passionate professionals that are comfortable with, and serve, both people and animals.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 6 months in related or similar work experience required
- Ability to work as a productive team member with excellent communication skills
- Computer and phone skill sets
- Knowledge of basic veterinary practice, medical terminology, and procedures
- Previous veterinary hospital experience
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual skills are encouraged
Responsibilities
- Hospital maintenance
- Assisting the doctors
- Laboratory procedures
- Operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment
- Inventory and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials program
