Veterinary Assistant

Parkside Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our fantastic team! As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside our veterinary team to support excellent patient care and smooth hospital operations.
Requirements
- Previous veterinary field experience preferred
- A genuine passion for animals and veterinary medicine
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A dependable and positive approach
- Comfort working in a hands-on veterinary environment
- A willingness to learn and continue developing your skills
- Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
- A team-first mindset and readiness to help where needed
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care
- Provide safe and compassionate animal handling and restraint
- Prepare exam and treatment areas for patients
- Support the team during appointments, treatments, and procedures
- Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked patient-care areas
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and teammates
- Jump in where needed to support an efficient hospital workflow
