Lakeview Pet Hospital is a well-established AAHA Accredited Hospital and Fear Free Certified Practice in NW Oklahoma City. Our clinic utilizes modern technology to practice the best medicine including IDEXX digital x-ray, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house labs, dental x-ray, interactive exam room technology, and much more. Requirements

• Veterinary experience, 2+ years
• Effective communication with clients and team members
• Understands the importance of client education and patient care
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Compassionate and caring toward our clients and their pets
• Motivated to continue to learn new skills
• Multi-task efficiently
• Positive and supportive team player
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Assisting in surgery
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical recovery
• Placing IV catheters
• Drawing blood and running bloodwork
• Experience with x-ray and proper positioning
• Knowledge of in-clinic laboratory equipment
• Client education
• Proper animal handling and restraint
• Being a positive and supportive team player
