We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative team and help us deliver exceptional patient care. Requirements
- At least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience
- Dependable
- Self-motivated
- Excellent cleaning skills
- Able to work weekends and evenings
- Excellent communication
- Team player
- Must be able to lift 50 squirming pounds
Responsibilities
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Safely restraining and handling patients
- Collecting laboratory samples and performing diagnostic testing
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Preparing and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures (within credentialing and state regulations)
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Educating clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans
- Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
