About The Position

VCA Aledo Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for its established, four-doctor small animal practice in Willow Park, Texas. The Veterinary Assistant supports the Technician and Doctor teams and helps create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients. The role focuses on building pet parents’ confidence through an outstanding client experience and helping provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities

Restrain and assist patients during exams and routine procedures.
Take detailed medical histories and record patient vital signs.
Fill prescriptions as allowed by law.
Perform laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

Assist doctors and technicians as needed.
