About The Position

Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support its emergency team in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. The role includes hands-on support during emergency procedures, preparing and restocking treatment areas, communicating compassionately with pet parents, performing basic laboratory tasks, and collaborating with emergency technicians and doctors. The schedule is 5–8-hour shifts per week, with shifts ranging from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.; some holidays are required. Starting pay is $17 per hour, and the position offers a $2,000 retention bonus.
