About The Position
Brandermill Animal Hospital is seeking a Full Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We are searching for a candidate with strong client education and patient care skills who thrives in a fast-paced team environment. The primary responsibility of the Veterinary Assistant is to advocate for our patients and work together with our clients to help them take excellent care of their pets. The ideal candidate is skilled in relationship building and demonstrates empathy when communicating in person and over the phone. As a representative of our hospital, a veterinary assistant must prioritize courtesy, compassion, and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, patients, and coworkers. We are a busy 3-doctor, AAHA-certified, small animal and exotics practice located in Midlothian, VA. Our practice has a long history of providing excellent veterinary care to our patients, building trusting relationships with our clients, and providing a fun, rewarding, and engaging team culture. Requirements
- Previous animal handling experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be available for scheduling during all hours the practice is open to support hospital operations
