About The Position
VCA PetCare East Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join their team in Sonoma County, California. They are looking for someone who can integrate into a collaborative hospital that provides the highest quality of medicine while maintaining a focus on work-life balance. The hospital is a state-of-the-art general, specialty, and emergency practice equipped with advanced technology such as endoscopic and laparoscopic capabilities, GE ultrasound, 64-slice CT, and DR. The team includes specialists like an Internist, Surgeons, an Oncologist, and experienced general practitioners and emergency clinicians. The technical staff has a high ratio of experienced RVTs and veterinary assistants. The role requires practicing high-quality medicine, possessing excellent communication skills, and being service-oriented.
