Veterinary Assistant - Radiology
About The Position
VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join its Radiology department in Denver, Colorado. The assistant supports radiologists and technicians with appointments and chemotherapy, and performs technical duties, client communication, and patient care related to the role and department. The hospital provides hands-on learning, didactic training, collaboration on case management and treatment, multi-modal monitoring equipment, and access to advanced technology including CT and MRI. The schedule is full-time, four 10-hour shifts from Sunday through Wednesday.
Requirements
- Experience as an assistant in veterinary medicine is preferred.
- New graduates must have a strong interest in oncology and the ability to apply knowledge and advance quickly.
