Requirements
- Experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarian and technician teams.
- Help create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
- Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Monitor anesthesia.
- Prepare for and assist with surgery.
- Assist with dentistry.
- Perform radiology and laboratory work.
- Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
- Assist with pharmacy tasks and patient recovery.
- Communicate with clients.
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals.
