About The Position
Westside Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their team. The clinic is dedicated to providing the highest standards of veterinary care and partners with clients to meet individual pet healthcare needs. They boast a state-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment including an in-house lab, digital radiology, a modern surgical suite capable of complex procedures, and a Class IV therapy laser. Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities
- Pet restraint
- Triage incoming patients
- Collection and analysis of lab samples
- Diagnostic imaging
- Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
- Administration of medications
- Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
- Surgical preparation and assistance
- Anesthetic management
