Veterinary Assistant - Swing Shift
About The Position
Mission / Overland Park Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital is a 24-hour hospital that focuses on the most critical needs of the animals in our community. Our board-certified specialists provide the most advanced care for our patients. This role offers exposure to a diverse and stimulating caseload, utilizes the most advanced imaging and monitoring tools, and provides the opportunity to tap into the expertise of board-certified specialists. The hospital has been ranked as one of the "Best Veterinarians in Kansas City" by City Lifestyle. The position is for the Swing Shift, requiring availability from 2pm to 2am, Thursday through Saturday.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Outstanding client service
- Excellent patient care
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations
- Clear, effective communication among clients and team members
- Dedication to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families
- Desire to utilize full skill set while learning new & advanced techniques
- Must be available from 2pm - 2am; Thursday - Saturday
