Veterinary Assistant - Rehabilitation
About The Position
Friendship Hospital for Animals, a leading AAHA-accredited hospital located in Washington D.C., is seeking a compassionate veterinary assistant to join our Rehabilitation team. Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools, including laser therapy, ultrasound, e-stim, hydrotherapy (Oasis UWTM), and a full range of therapeutic exercise equipment. The veterinary assistant works alongside the rehab doctors and technicians to assist with comprehensive rehabilitative care. You will also be responsible for assisting/coordinating appointments, so excellent communication skills and professionalism are a must. Someone who is detail-oriented, great at multitasking, and implements Fear Free techniques is our ideal candidate.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities
