BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Neurology Veterinary Assistant. We strive to provide state-of-the-art services to our patients and clients. - Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values
- Discharge, perform call backs and refill medications
- Client education, gathering histories and communicating that to the Clinician
- Perform physical exam; accurately count heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort.
- Understand normal vital parameters
- Comfortable with IVC placement and venipuncture
- Set up intravenous fluids.
- Operate all brands of intravenous fluid pumps and can troubleshoot errors.
- Restrain patients during consults and during diagnostics
