Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an animal hospital.
  • Proficiency with laboratory sample processing and basic radiographic techniques.
  • Strong technical nursing skills, including patient handling and restraint.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, reliability, and adaptability.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Triage incoming emergency patients and support clients throughout their hospital experience.
  • Assist veterinarians with patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
  • Operate and assist with diagnostic imaging for patient evaluation.
  • Administer, monitor, and recover patients undergoing sedation and anesthesia.
  • Assist with minor surgical (non-specialty) procedures.
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
