Requirements
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an animal hospital.
- Proficiency with laboratory sample processing and basic radiographic techniques.
- Strong technical nursing skills, including patient handling and restraint.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, reliability, and adaptability.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Triage incoming emergency patients and support clients throughout their hospital experience.
- Assist veterinarians with patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
- Operate and assist with diagnostic imaging for patient evaluation.
- Administer, monitor, and recover patients undergoing sedation and anesthesia.
- Assist with minor surgical (non-specialty) procedures.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
