Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or higher education
  • Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM
  • Ability to safely restrain patients for various types of treatments and procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently, and remain calm during stressful situations
  • Ability to run diagnostic laboratory tests and procedures
  • Possesses a positive attitude and team oriented mindset
  • Dedicated to excellent client communication and client care.
  • Advocate for exceptional patient care
  • Passion for growth and development, open to accepting feedback
  • Adaptable to the demands of the day and to do any other tasks as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2-years veterinary clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate nursing care and hands-on support for emergency and hospitalized patients.
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient restraint, treatments, diagnostics, and medical procedures.
  • Support clients throughout their visit by providing exceptional customer service and helping ensure a positive experience.
  • Monitor patient comfort and well-being while advocating for the highest quality of care.
  • Help maintain an organized, efficient Emergency department by supporting patient flow and collaborating with the veterinary team.
  • Continue developing your clinical skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and ongoing learning opportunities.
