About The Position

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency team. This full-time Veterinary Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on emergency veterinary skills while working alongside experienced veterinarians and credentialed technicians in a specialty animal hospital. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical or emergency veterinary environment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Team-focused, collaborative mindset with willingness to learn
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Responsibilities

Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment areas, exam rooms, and equipment
Laundry, dishes, and restocking supplies
Provide safe and compassionate restraint during patient examinations and procedures
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians throughout the patient visit and treatment process
