Veterinary Assistant Emergency
About The Position
VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service. This is a full-time position with (4) 10-hour shifts. Compensation is $18 - $22 / hr, based on skill set and experience. VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists, established in 1998, has grown into a full-service, multi-disciplinary, specialty-only practice within a 32,000 sq. ft. facility operating 24/7/365. We offer an in-house national reference laboratory, blood bank, and an Education Center. Our Advanced Imaging department includes on-site MRI, CT, C-Arm, and Linear Accelerator. Our team of specialists includes Surgeons, a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, Internists, an Emergency and Critical Care Service, Neurosurgeon, and Radiation Oncologist. We utilize a team approach for case consultation and management, providing a diverse and stimulating caseload with advanced imaging and monitoring tools. West Palm Beach offers a desirable location with year-round pleasant weather and beautiful beaches.
Requirements
- Experience in emergency or specialty medicine, or several years of experience in general practice
