About The Position
VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced overnight Veterinary Assistant to join our 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service. We are seeking experienced veterinary technicians who demonstrate dedication, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong focus on patient care. Ideal candidates will possess solid technical skills along with genuine compassion for animals. About the Role As an experienced Veterinary Technician/CVT, we want you to use your skills and knowledge to the fullest. Skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Compassionate patient care, Patient assessment and triage, Client education and care, Hospitalization/ICU care, Anesthesia induction and monitoring, Surgical preparation and assisting, Radiology, Laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing, Venipuncture, catheterization, Pharmacy, Medical record keeping.
