About The Position
This position blends client-facing responsibilities with hands-on patient care, creating a dynamic and engaging workday. The role involves assisting doctors and technicians, safely restraining patients, supporting laboratory testing, administering medications, preparing patients for procedures, monitoring patients, and cleaning/sanitizing hospital areas. Additionally, the role includes greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, communicating care plans, processing payments, and maintaining medical records.

Responsibilities
- Assisting doctors and technicians in exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Safely restraining patients during exams and procedures.
- Supporting laboratory testing, including blood, fecal, and urine samples.
- Administering medications as directed.
- Preparing patients for procedures and supporting surgery workflow as needed.
- Monitoring patients and reporting changes to the medical team.
- Cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms, kennels, and equipment to maintain a safe, efficient hospital.
- Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting daily hospital flow.
- Communicating clearly with pet owners about care plans, next steps, and estimates.
- Processing payments and helping clients navigate services and recommendations.
- Keeping medical records accurate and well organized in our software system.
