About The Position

We are VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital & Referral Center, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our hospital is growing and seeking to add a Veterinary Assistant to our Critical Care Department. Our hospital offers both primary care and specialty/ER services, including oncology, surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology, and internal medicine. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in veterinary patient care, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of cases and learning from knowledgeable professionals. We have a supportive tech manager team and experienced technicians in every department. We are open to hiring both credentialed technicians and on-the-job-trained veterinary assistants with appropriate skills. We are willing to train individuals who are a great fit with our culture, even if they have limited experience.
