Burke Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant/Client Care Specialist to join their three-doctor practice. This role offers a flexible schedule, Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays, and no nights, on-call, or after-hours emergencies. The clinic emphasizes a supportive, team-first culture with opportunities for cross-training and professional growth. The ideal candidate will excel in patient care and client communication, contributing to a positive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, in veterinary client care, or both.
- Excellent client communication skills.
- Phenomenal time management and organizational skills.
- A passion for pets and veterinary care.
- A desire to grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.
- A sense of humor.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors and the medical team with patient care, including safe handling and restraint.
- Provide clear and informative communication to clients regarding their pet's care.
- Maintain smooth clinic operations through strong time management and organization.
- Cross-train across roles and share knowledge with teammates.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, team-first environment.
