About The Position

Burlington Veterinary Center in Burlington, CT is seeking a dedicated and personable veterinarian to join their close-knit team. They are looking for a passionate DVM to help continue their legacy of exceptional patient and client care. The facility is a spacious, standalone building with 4 exam rooms, a quiet acupuncture room, a large surgical suite, an x-ray/ultrasound suite, a dedicated dental area, and two treatment tables. Modern tools include dental x-ray, ultrasound, electrocautery, laser therapy, cryopen, in-house lab, and full anesthesia monitoring. The practice is 100% small animal and focuses on personalized, wellness-focused medicine with a conservative approach to vaccines. The team includes two CVTs (with more in training), and they maintain a 1:2 doctor-to-tech ratio to support high-quality care. They offer a compassionate, community-driven culture, emphasis on thorough wellness diagnostics and preventative care, structured mentorship for new and recent graduates, and a supportive environment that values work-life balance and professional growth. The position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and has no after-hours or on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

• Experience with laser therapy, cryopen, or other advanced tools.
