About The Position
The Pet Doctor is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animal patients. This role offers competitive compensation with a ProSal earning potential, flexible scheduling options (part-time or full-time, 3-4 days/week, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm), and no after-hours or on-call responsibilities. The position emphasizes work-life balance, clinical autonomy, high-quality medicine in an AAHA-accredited, Fear-Free Certified, and Cat-Friendly hospital, and supports professional growth through continuing education and development opportunities. The Pet Doctor is committed to community involvement through partnerships with local rescue organizations and its own "Animal Angels" project.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Missouri.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with exotics, ultrasound, dentistry, or rehabilitation.
- Interest in pursuing specialty areas in veterinary medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animal patients.
- Practice high-quality medicine with the autonomy to make the best decisions for patients.
- Support the mission to deliver progressive, compassionate veterinary care.
- Participate in community involvement through partnerships with local rescue organizations.
- Contribute to the "Animal Angels" rescue service project.
