About The Position

Richey Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinarian for their established, family-owned, high-volume small animal practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop surgical and medical skills in a supportive, warm, and friendly environment. The clinic is located in a suburb of Houston, offering a genuine work/life balance. Richey Animal Clinic is a full-service clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care, with a focus on enhancing the human-animal bond. The clinic is 3,500 square feet and equipped with digital radiography, in-house lab equipment, cytology/microscopy, and ECG. Ultrasonography is available at their sister clinic. The position involves interesting and challenging cases with manageable caseloads.

Requirements

  • Current Texas state license to practice veterinary medicine
  • High proficiency for companion animal preventive care
  • Ability to prepare and deliver internal skills training to the entire team

Benefits

  • $16,000 signing bonus, paid at $2,000 per quarter for two years
  • Competitive base salary of $130,000 annually or easily achievable commission - whichever is higher
